The world we live in is a strange and busy one; we are constantly being encouraged to train while we work, work while we raise our children, fit in that conversation while we are travelling; an endless flow of concurrent activities.
We ask a great deal of our bodies: we feed it less than wholesome foods, usually while also doing something else. We strive to give it less sleep so we can fit more into our days, then expect it to function perfectly to allow us to maintain our speed of living.
Is this OK?
While all this hustle and bustle fills our waking hours, there is a faint sound in the distance, a gentle stirring that only just attracts the attention of our searching soul. A message is being sent, a way of allowing us to mediate between the speed of today and the health we aspire to.
